My decision for HHL’s doctoral program was mainly based on the professor. Stephan Stubner is one of the few professors who combine family business research with strategic management research. At HHL, I especially like the frequent exchanges with doctoral students from other disciplines and the high level of support from professors. Also the clear structure for the way towards graduation and short ways between doctoral students and administration/professors are quite advantageous.

HHL and in particular the Chair of Marketing, held by Professor Manfred Kirchgeorg, are leaders in the field of business education and marketing, while also maintaining a friendly, collaborative and enriching personal environment. This personal nature and the close contact to the supervisor are what make HHL special for me.

I received a scholarship from the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics (WCGE) and decided to choose HHL to be able to work closely together with Professor Suchanek as my doctoral supervisor, and to thereby learn from his knowledge, publications and research in the field of economics and business ethics. At HHL I enjoy the good infrastructure, the nice employees, the interesting courses and the great contacts HHL has because of its excellent reputation.
